Movements in Return (2016), is a sound composition made up of fourteen musical movements alternating key signatures. The work contemplates how process is perceived in terms of expansion and contraction and how interactions between objects in space alter trajectories. The sound piece is intended to be experienced as an installation where a passage in space is explored through sounds. Repetition and slow progression render the pace almost to stillness. As the piece remains in a specific space reflecting on an interaction, a musical theme in a different key signature marks a transition into a new process that makes the interaction that sets it off noticeable.
